About this program

Summer + year-long prep program - For rising juniors (current 10th graders), specifically Black/Generational African American male students - Begins with a 6-week fully funded Summer Academy at a partner college campus the summer before junior year - Focuses on strengthening skills in math, writing, and critical thinking while building leadership and academic confidence - Followed by 10 months of one-on-one coaching and mentorship during junior year to prepare students for Thrive's selective 6-Year College-to-Career Program - All expenses for travel, housing, meals, and materials are covered
